We had a wonderful turnout of people and felt very supported in our locality aims of cleaning and greening. Residents and visitors from elsewhere were positive and helpful in greening up streets and parks to counteract climate change.

The West London Tree Hub based in Heston Community Garden is growing well. We are nurturing a variety of young trees to plant in our local environment of Heston.

Heston Action Group made two more troughs from recycled wood and placed them opposite the shops at the junction of Cranford Lane and Vicarage Farm Road on Friday the 13 th May 2022.

Heston Action Group helped the Mayor and Greenspace plant a new mini-forest and a wonderful Oak tree in Sutton Fields, Heston in mid-March.

Heston Action Group were out and about sweeping and weeding before donating handmade recycled wood troughs and plants.

Preparation of plant planting position and delivery of compost and loam have given Heston Action Group a hedgerow which will encourage a greater diversity of wildlife in the garden.

Hounslow Council award us for our creative greening ideas. The most recent is the establishment of the Heston Community Garden in Sutton Playing Fields.
